“We can never judge the lives of others, because each person knows only their own pain and renunciation. It’s one thing to feel that you are on the right path, but it’s another to think that yours is the only path.” Paulo Coelho

Sometimes we are so quick to judge others without knowing the pain and struggles they had to go through to get to where they are today. We think we know them based on what is said or talked about but in reality it is often far from the truth. Instead of pointing a finger at someone, try turning that finger around and point it directly at yourself and look in the mirror. What you will determine is that judging someone else does not define who they are, it defines who you are.

I have judged and been judged. And what I’ve learned from my journey is that you can never judge a book by its cover or that a glimpse into a person’s life is factual. I also learned, that instead of judging others we need to be understanding and show more kindness and compassion toward others. When we come from a place of kindness and compassion, we are less likely to judge others and most importantly less likely to have to judge ourselves.
